Kununurra & The Bungle Bungles

Includes return flight to Kununurra, Scenic flight to the Bungle Bungle's & Sleepover, airport shuttle, accommodation, all breakfasts and dinners, 3 lunches and all entries as per itinerary.

• Day 1  - Nina and the airport shuttle will transfer you to Sydney Airport for your flight to Kununurra via Darwin where Warwick will be waiting to take you to Lakeside Resort, Kununurra  (4 nights + 1 night)  
   
• Day 2  -  We start the day at the Kununurra Markets before we head for an afternoon of exploration on Lake Argyle with a sunset cruise board the Kimberley Durack.There will be a swimming opportunity in the tranquil waters of the Bay of Islands and as the sun sets there is served a cheese and pate platter, dips & crackers with complimentary drinks.
   
• Day 3  - The Argyle Diamond Mine is one of the worlds largest diamond producer and today we get a rare insight into the scope of a large mining operation and the history of its relationship with Traditional Owners. Lunch today is in the Miners Mess Hall.

• Day 4  - A visit to the historic Durack Homestead Museum, a replica of the original homestead and using the original homestead stone. We make our way to the Ord River Dam wall where you will see the Ord Hydro Power Station before we commence a scenic 55km OrdRiver Cruise back to our accommodation at Lakeside.

• Day 5  - Bungle Bungle Sleepover  Your flight from Kununurra will include the magnificent Ord River, the enormous Lake Argyle, Lissadell & Texas Downs Stations, the rugged Osmand Ranges and a picturesque circuit over the Bungle Bungle Range. Once landed, join your guide for a tour of the spectacular Beehive Domes and a walk to Cathedral Gorge and enjoy your packed lunch. At the end of the day, relax in your superior cabin or poolside at the Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge or take in a magnificent East Kimberley sunset. Dinner is served at 7.00pm and you can choose to dine inside the Lodge dining room or out under the stars on the deck adjacent to the Bungles Bar.

• Day 6  -  After breakfast a return scenic flight to Kununurra with aeriel views of the Argyle Diamond Mine, Ragged and Carr Boyd Ranges. We then make our way to Wyndham and the Five Rivers Lookout. A visit to Zebra Rock Gallery and Hidden Valley before returning to Lakeside Resort, Kununurra. ( 1 night )
   
• Day 7 -   A flight from Kununurra via Darwin to Sydney where the airport shuttle will be waiting to take you home.
