Our tours are welcome for anybody to join. If you live outside the above areas you can make your own way to Sydney Airport and we will meet you there.

Day 1

Journey from Sydney to Adelaide

Scott and our home pickup service will transfer you to Sydney Airport for your flight to Adelaide. We head to Intercontinental Adelaide for our 5-night stay.

Day 2

Explore Adelaide

Today we explore Adelaide, including the historic and cultural precinct of North Terrace, the Botanic Gardens, Adelaide Oval and more. After lunch our city sights continues with the coastal precincts of Port Adelaide and Glenelg Beach. Surrounded on all sides by amazing produce, Adelaide is undeniably a world class food city. This evening we dine out at one of the most renowned seafood restaurants in town, Louca’s.

Day 3

Barossa Valley

A tour around Adelaide would not be complete without a day to the Barossa Valley, Australia’s most famous wine region. Not just wine tasting, but scenery and history abound in this region. We’ll visit Yalumba Winery, the only winery in the Southern Hemisphere to have an operational, on-site winery cooperage. Nestled in the heart of the Seppeltsfield village beside the Cellar Door, FINO Seppeltsfield is the epitome of progressive regional dining in South Australia. After lunch, take a look around the historic 175 year old estate, which houses the Jam Factory Craft + Design studios, supporting outstanding craft and design through its widely acclaimed studios, galleries & shops. A stop in the central town of Tanunda the afternoon before we take in the views on our way home.

Day 4

McLaren Vale region

We begin the day in the Adelaide foothills and take a tour of the stunning Carrick Hill House. After lunch we head to the amazing d’Arenberg Cube. This cube-shaped art gallery come tasting room, lying in stark contrast to it’s surrounding vineyard, was inspired by the complexities and puzzles of winemaking. Each of its 5 levels has been carefully curated to excite the senses. We explore the building including the Salvador Dali exhibition, on show until 2028. We make our way back to Adelaide, through the McLaren Vale region and a coastal walk along the way. Dinner by the river this evening.

 

Day 5

Adelaide Hills

One visit to the Adelaide Hills and you’ll see why this place fuelled the creative fires of so many artists. Picturesque views from Mt Lofty start our day. We visit the unique Jurlique Farm. We tour the award-winning biodynamic farm, discovering how Jurlique has grown botanicals for its natural skincare collection for more than 40 years, while learning about the farm’s history, sustainable growing practices, and the benefits of its botanicals. Hahndorf is Australia’s oldest surviving German settlement, first established in 1839 by German Lutherans seeking freedom and a place to call home. Tastes of Bavaria for lunch, then free time to explore the iconic tree-lined main street and discover a delightful mix of artisan boutiques & galleries. We end the day with a visit to legendary Beerenberg Farm, family owned for nearly 200 years. Dinner at one of Adelaides historical establishments this evening.

 

Day 6

Journey home to Sydney

It’s market day. Established in 1869, Adelaide Central Market is one of the largest undercover fresh produce markets in the Southern Hemisphere, buzzing with life and colour all year round. Now home to over 70 traders, the market is South Australia’s most visited tourist attraction. Time at the market this morning. A direct flight from Adelaide to Sydney this afternoon where Scott will be waiting to welcome you and ensure a comfortable journey home.

How to book a tour?

To book on one of our tours, you first need to call our office on (02) 4382 2039 and speak to Holly or Scott. To secure your booking, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $200 per person is due within 7 days of booking. The balance of the tour is due 60 days before departure.

Please DO NOT send any payment until it has been confirmed by phone that we have availability.

Payment can be made in the following ways: Cheque or Money Order, Visa or Mastercard, Direct remittance. Please contact us for our bank details.
